RamBand Scholarship Information
Each
year, the Central Dauphin Band Boosters present scholarships to deserving
RamBand seniors. Seniors may apply for one or more
of six non-renewable scholarships. Click

each are described below.
General Eligibility Requirements
- The student must be a
Senior and presently a member of the RamBand.
- The student must be an
active, contributing member of the RamBand, participating (as
applicable) not only in daily classes but also in concerts, solo
performances, ensembles, and competitions (i.e., Winter Guard, Indoor
Percussion Ensemble, etc.).
- As a general rule, the
student must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 80% as of
the second quarter of senior year. The Band Director may at his
discretion based upon a student's accomplishments in music and band
leadership, consider applicants a cumulative grade point average of less
than 80%.
- A letter of acceptance
or a copy of the signature page of the student's application for
admission should accompany the scholarship application. If these are not
available, attach whatever documentation you feel demonstrates your
intent to attend a college or university (i.e., a personal letter
describing your situation). Proof of full-time enrollment from an
accredited college/university must be submitted by no later than July
1st of the year of graduation from Central Dauphin to receive
scholarship funds.
- Applications must be postmarked no later than April
1st.
- The RamBand Scholarships will be named and presented
at the annual Band Banquet. The Band Boosters will release funds only
upon demonstration of all the requirements noted above by the award
designee .
- Failure to meet the requirements of the scholarship award will result in the monies being returned to the Central Dauphin Band Boosters Association.
