Bake Sale
Help Fill the Bake Sale Table!
Imagine
the crowd at Landis Field during Football Friday nights. Imagine the
thrill of the game. Imagine everyone stopping by our bake sale table
for a snack! That’s how much we need to fill our table (or tables, if
necessary). We anticipate more great games this season. If you
haven’t yet contributed anything for the bake sale table, it's probably time
you did so. Why? Two reasons. First, the sales from the
bake sale table are all profit to the Band Boosters. Second, new this year:
The People's Choice Award!! Now you'll not only get the private joy of
helping to raise money, but also public acclaim at a Band Boosters' Meeting.
Bake Sale Reminders:
We love cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats, cupcakes or any other
homemade goodies. Anything your family likes for a treat will sell at the
bake sale table. If you have a specialty (fudge, oatmeal chocolate chip
cookies, chocolate-covered pretzels) we’d love to see it again one more time
this year! Package your baked goods in a serving that will sell for 50
cents (two brownies or three cookies, for example).
The Band Boosters' bake sale is on the visitor’s side of the football field
during CD home football games (to your left around the track as you walk
into Landis Field)-- RAIN OR SHINE!! Drop off your baked goods at the bake sale table before
the game and grab a snack from the visitor's side concession stand before
going over to your seat. (We get 20% of the revenue from the visitor's side
concession stand. This bake sale/concession is a big fundraiser for us.)
Our bake sale table needs two helpers per half. It is lots of fun and time
goes quickly. Contact us at
