RamBand will be offering the finest Custom Roasted Varietal Coffee from the
Mr. G Coffee
Company! Most folks know that there are dozens of varieties of
apples; however, did you know there are just as many types of coffee beans?
Like wine, coffee from different areas of the world takes on different
flavor characteristics.
The
flavor profile for coffee is based on many components including acidity,
aroma, body, aftertaste, and sweetness. A balance between these components
is the goal of a rich, flavorful, well developed coffee. Some people,
however, prefer a coffee to be higher in one of these areas than others.
Another large factor in the flavor of coffee is the darkness of the roast.
As coffee is roasted the bean takes on a deeper flavor, the essential oils
in the bean come to the surface, and the amount of caffeine decreases.
Where the roasting process is stopped determines the flavor profile for that
particular coffee. Coffee from one specific area of the world can be roasted
to different levels to create different flavor profiles.
Once Mr. G learns your taste preference, he roasts the beans in small
batches to control the consistency that gives that same great taste cup
after cup. Your coffee will be custom roasted just days before you receive
it, providing you the freshest taste perfected just for you!
