27-Aug-07: Practice Logs

- All students in concert band(s) or jazz band(s) must complete weekly practice logs.

- They are to be turned in every Friday and cover the week previous, running Friday to Thursday. Put your log in the folder with your name on it in the front of the band room.'

-*NOTE CHANGE* Each student is responsible to practice for a minimum of 90 minutes per week plus 20 minutes an additional ensemble they are in.

-It is to be individual or small group practice and may include materials covered in private lessons or other music classes.

-At least 50% of the minutes are to be spent on the "primary" instrument(s) that the student plays in band.

-The logs must be filled out completely with name, dates, titles of pieces, minutes, and parent signature.
