Office Assistant
aids music teachers and booster clubs organize
student contact information, manage inventory, assign uniforms, track
attendance, and work with trips, fees, fundraisers, form collection, and
lots more. Charms also can send group email, broadcast phone and text messages,
email financial statements and much more.
Because it can unify much of the diverse information needed by Mr. Ceresini
and the Central Dauphin Band Boosters Association, we decided to invest in
and begin to implement in 2010-11this all-encompassing management system,
which works on any computer connected to the internet, from anywhere in the
world!
This brief introduction shows you how
to log in to access your account. Go to
Charmsoffice.com and find the “Parent/ Student Login” on the right side
of the screen. It looks like the box on the right.
Then type in our schoolcode (CDRamBand) and click the Enter Button.
Inside this general band area you will find:
- The Public Calendar;
- Teachers' email addresses; and
- A link to this www.cdramband.org website
Click on the button to see what is inside each of these pages. For more information, click here for the RamBand Charms Handbook.
On the right side of the page you see the Student Password. Type in your RamBand Student Password, which you should have gotten in a mailing. If you don’t know it you can email Mr. Ceresini at cdbandceresini@gmail.com and he’ll provide it to you.
Then you'll have access to the Parent/Student Area:
Inside the Parent/Student Area you will find the following links:
- School Calendar
- Event List
- Volunteer Needs and Signups for Band & Booster Events
- Teachers' Email
- Handouts
- Website
- Financial Information (what fees you owe; your fundraisign proceeds)
- Student Forms
- Practice Log
- Personal Information (please update this if anything changes)
- Change Password

PROBLEMS LOGGING IN TO CHARMS?
Try these solutions before contacting support:
- Check to see that your “Content Advisor” is not enabled. Many secure sites (HTTPS), including Charms, encounter difficulties using Internet Explorer due to a Microsoft bug.
- Try this:
o Select Tools > Internet Options > Content tab
o If the top button reads “Disable” - click that button, enter your
password, and click OK.
o Log off Internet Explorer and log back in, and then into Charms. It
should work perfectly. - Select Tools > Internet Options > Privacy and click the Sites button. Add www.charmsoffice.com to your allowed websites.
- Be sure you are entering the CDRamBand schoolcode in the Parent/Student Login area without spaces.
