Golf-a-RAMa is an
event to benefit the Central Dauphin High School
RamBand programs. We're looking for as many
golfers as possible to participate in the inaugural
event. It will be a great team-building event
where participants get to play a round of golf on a
beautiful spring day in Central Pennsylvania, try
their skills in a variety of contests, mingle,
have a great 19th hole banquet, and generally
have some fun. It's also an opportunity for
those band members and band parents and friends who
golf to get out and meet our sponsors, patrons, band

We’re pleased to share some exciting news
about a great fundraising program for the Central
Dauphin Band Boosters Association. It’s
called “scrip,” and it’s the fundraising
program that works while you shop.
Scrip is a term we use to denote gift cards
from national and local retailers-- they’re
the same gift cards that you'd buy at the
store. But when you buy them from us,
you're helping the Central Dauphin Ram Band
programs.
Many popular retailers participate in the
RamBand Scrip program including Giant, Weis
Markets, Karns, Home
Depot, Office Max, Rite Aid, Gap, Macy's,
Sears, Borders, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster,
Olive Garden, Starbucks, and scores of
others. We're talking about money
you're going to spend anyway! So, in
that sense, RamBand Scrip is "shopping cart
fundraising” that costs you nothing except a
little bit of time to plan ahead.
