Why should you come shop our Spring Craft Show?

  • Our Spring Craft Show is located at our beautiful Central Dauphin High School.  We host approximately 175 crafters selling handmade jewelry, soaps and lotions, delightful food items, home and yard pieces, and more. Our crafters sell only top quality, specially-made, unique, handcrafted items – no commercially made or resell items are permitted at our show.

  • We offer a café with both breakfast and lunch items with delicious options to satisfy your shopping hunger cravings.

  • A raffle of handcrafted pieces made by crafters is a highlight of our show.  Raffle tickets are affordable, and drawings are made throughout the day.

  • There is no admission charge for our Spring Craft Show, and of course, parking is free.

Why should you apply to be a crafter at our craft show?

  • We welcome an amazing crowd of shoppers who come to wander through our hallways, gymnasium and cafeteria. It is estimated more than 1500 shoppers attend our show.  Because of the top-quality handcrafted merchandise being sold, our return crafters rave about sales potential.

  • Our Spring Craft Show is a sold-out event of our 210 vendor spaces.  Typically, we have a 75% returning crafter rate. Our spaces are affordable at only $60 per 10' x 6' space.  Multiple spaces can be combined to create longer or deeper spaces.

  • Our amazing Band Booster Volunteers help ensure success.  Volunteers will help you unload your vehicle and carry your merchandise to your crafter space.  Throughout the show, carts of café items will be brought around for crafters, including free coffee! At the end of the day, our team of volunteers will help deliver your items back to your car.

   2024 Show Update for Crafters

  • Applications for the 2024 Spring Craft Show were mailed in mid-October.  As in the past, crafters who participated in the 2023 show will have their applications processed first, so please make sure to submit the application by the due date in December.  After the return crafter applications are processed, we will fill the open spaces with new crafters.  Acceptance letters will be sent in early January.

  • If you would like to add your name / business to our database to receive an application, please email your complete business name and mailing address to cdcraftshow@gmail.com.

CRAFTERS INFORMATION

   About Our Show

  • The Spring Craft Show is held indoors in Central Dauphin High School, 437 Piketown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17112. Admission and parking are free. The show includes nearly 175 crafters, concessions, and a raffle throughout the day. Ample free parking is available for all. The school is located just off Route 39 in Harrisburg, PA with easy access from Interstates 81 and 83.

   Merchandise

  • Because handcrafted items are our emphasis, the Spring Craft Show traditionally draws many shoppers looking for specially-made, unique items. We are not a juried show, but to ensure our reputation for top quality, handcrafted items, which is the expectation and main attraction of this event in our community, we reserve the right to refuse crafter assignments for anyone offering commercially made, franchised or resell items. We do not allow animals, fish or burning of candles, incense or potpourri.

   Crafter Space

  • We appreciate our returning crafters! We give priority to crafters from last year’s Spring Craft Show who submit timely applications. We then carefully review new applications and assign crafters to the space most appropriate for the merchandise you offer and your space requirements. We will consider and try to honor special requests for space location; however, we cannot guarantee them.

   Show Fees

  • The fee for each 10' x 6' space is $60.  You MUST keep your displays within the space your rent.  Please bring your own tables, chairs, and extension cords.

   Setup and Breakdown

  • Setup begins at 6:00 a.m. the day of the show. Volunteers will be available to assist in unloading your vehicle. After unloading, please move all vehicles to the assigned vendor parking area. Do not mount, tape, or nail anything on walls. Show is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Break down time begins at 3:00 p.m. No exceptions to this rule; crafters who disregard this rule will not be invited back.

   Concessions

  • We will serve food and drink all day from the school cafeteria. We offer free coffee all day to each crafter! You will have the opportunity to purchase lunch from a traveling food cart with the menu items available at the cafeteria.
