INDOOR ENSEMBLES
The Central Dauphin Indoor Drumline, Indoor Standstill Drumline and the CDSD Indoor Color Guards are extracurricular activities that begin in November and end in late April/early May, with an average of three rehearsals each week and competitions on most Saturdays, beginning in mid-January. All groups are open to all interested CDHS students who have completed marching band in the same year. *Note* - 9th graders and all new students to CDHS are eligible to participate in the Indoor Ensembles during their first year without having participated in Marching Band the preceding fall.
Indoor units present visual and musical shows in a gymnasium for audiences and judges at competitions in the spring. Central Dauphin High School Indoor Ensembles participate in various circuits, including Keystone Indoor Drill Association (KIDA), Tournament Indoor Association (TIA) and Winter Guard International (WGI).
Our Central Dauphin Indoor Drumline was recognized as finalists at the 2022 WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
