CENTRAL DAUPHIN BAND BOOSTERS

The Central Dauphin Band Boosters Association is dedicated to the support and advancement of the band program. Our legacy has us recognized as one of the most robust booster associations in the area, and we pride ourselves in being an integral part of the Central Dauphin High School Band Program. Over these past decades of excellence, the Central Dauphin Band Boosters have raised OVER A MILLION DOLLARS and provided tens of thousands of volunteer hours to support this amazing Band Program.

Assisting the band directors wherever and whenever help is needed, we need YOUR HELP to continue this legacy of excellence. Whether we are transporting, outfitting, feeding or raising money to purchase new uniforms, instruments, and other equipment vital to the band program, our dedicated parents, alumni, staff and sponsors help keep the Central Dauphin High School Band Program one of the best!

MEMBERSHIP

You are a Band Booster if your student is a current member of any one of the bands and ensembles of the Central Dauphin High School Band Program.

Why not enjoy further benefits by becoming a patron member remembering that all application monies go into our general fund? Your patron membership, depending on the level, ensures you receive either discounted or free entry to our ticketed events, up-to-date information on all band happenings and events, sent via email, listing as patron member in our programs, and more.

You are welcome and ENCOURAGED to attend our general Booster meetings, generally held every month on the first Tuesday, beginning at 7:00 PM in the CDHS Band Room.

FUNDRAISING

The Band Boosters average nearly $65,000 annually to supplement the school district's budget for the Central Dauphin High School Band Program. Fundraising efforts benefit every single band student, whether he or she participates in one band or ensemble or in several. Monies raised bolster both the general fund that is used for Booster sponsored concerts, events and other supportive functions, as well as your Student Account, which can be used for Band activities including trip payments, music lessons, as well as instrument purchases and repairs.

VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved in your student's activities at Central Dauphin High School, and the CD Bands Program provides LOTS of opportunities for you.

The Central Dauphin School District, in compliance with Pennsylvania State Law, requires that ALL adults who have consistent contact with students MUST have obtained a Volunteer Badge from the CDSD Department of Safety and Security.

The Band Boosters generally meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Band Room at Central Dauphin High School. Everyone is welcome. If you miss a booster meeting, no worries!
