Knoebels

On Saturday, May 19, 2012, the Central Dauphin High School Jazz Bands will continue  their tradition of performing at the band shell at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA.

Bring the whole family to Knoebels for a day of fun, food, and great entertainment,

 featuring our own Ram Jazz Bands!  The Boosters will supply the hot dogs and burgers for all the RamBand students and families.  Park hours are 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. and Jazz Band performance times are likely to be 2:00 and 6:00 p.m.

All jazz band students will ride the school bus and will receive a wrist band good all day for the rides.  Non-jazz students, siblings and family members will be responsible for their own ride tickets but parking and admission to Knoebels are free.

This is an "All Band Event" and everyone Ramband related, including alumni, are welcome to attend.  All we ask is that each student and/or family bring along a covered dish (sides, desserts, etc.) to  share and that you RSVP to boosters@cdramband.org and let us know how many folks (not including your Jazz 1 or Jazz 2 student) you are bringing.  This way we can know how much food we will need.

PS- we will also being needing plenty of drinks for our thirsty park goers so if you could start sending in cases of Pepsi products (12 oz cans) or bottled water (any brand) now that would be great so we can be sure to have the drinks on ice and ready when everyone arrives.

WILDWOOD 2012

For the first time in over 8 years all three groups made finals and each group had their best finish ever!  The percussion ensemble placed 4th in the Scolastic A class with their all time highest score.  The color guard received bronze medals for their 3rd place finish in the Novice A class and were promoted to the next level for next year.  The majorettes were named championships of Novice A and were also promoted to the next level.  Congratulations to all of the students and staff members on a great season full of wonderful performances that represented CDSD well.

cards from national and local retailers-- they’re the same gift cards that you'd buy at the store.  But when you buy them from us, you're helping the Central Dauphin Ram Band programs.
