The Central Dauphin High School Band Program not only boasts several fantastic musical groups but also provides an amazing educational opportunity for our students!  Our program cannot continue to thrive, however, without the assistance of the Central Dauphin Band Boosters.  

Naturally, the more boosters that volunteer, the more we can help the bands, and the less burden any single booster will have to bear.  So, please take a moment and review the various volunteer opportunities to see if there is something you can do to help the bands.   Click here for more information.

2009-10 All-Band Trip Details

The Central Dauphin High School Band is heading on down to Orlando and if you are a member of any Central Dauphin Band, you’re invited to come!!  We are leaving for sunny Florida on March 31, 2010, traveling in true coach style on new buses with all the amenities.  While we’re there the Bands will be performing at DisneyWorld (hopefully twice) and participating in a workshop with a Disney composer/muscian.   There will still be plenty of time for fun in the sun though. You’ll enjoy tons of time at Disney with your ParkHopper Pass- 4 days at the Disney Theme Parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom).  Plus we have other great events on tap, including a trip back to Medieval Times!  All in all, it should be an amazing trip; you definitely don’t want to miss it!  Click here for more information.

We’re pleased to share some exciting news about a great fundraising program for the Central Dauphin Band Boosters Association. It’s called “scrip,” and it’s the fundraising program that works while you shop.  Scrip is a term we use to denote gift cards from national and local retailers-- they’re the same gift cards that you'd buy at the store.  But when you buy them from us, you're helping the Central Dauphin Ram Band programs.

Many popular retailers participate in the RamBand Scrip program including Giant, Weis Markets, Karns, Home Depot, Office Max, Rite Aid, Gap, Macy's, Sears, Borders, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Starbucks, and scores of others.  We're talking about money you're going to spend anyway!  So, in that sense, RamBand Scrip is "shopping cart fundraising” that costs you nothing except a little bit of time to plan ahead.
